Vogue Philippines August 2024 : Pia Wurtzbach by Callum Inskip

The cover has everything to be something good, but somehow something was missing, I don't know what exactly...

I love both covers but the first one doesn't show off the dress properly so it's flat.
Having said this FINALLY some glamour back in Vogue:
- gorgeous photography
- great hair and makeup
- stylish people
- elegant proper styling for the Vogue market
- No BS propaganda of any kind.

I'm not a fan of the lighting on Pia's cover.

I love this month's Vogue Man cover! Great cover star choice, too.

The changing of size on Life in Pictures makes their new font undesirable to look at.

I believe she will love more stunning with her eyes open larger. She really looks sleepy here.

Both covers look fresh, elegant, beautiful, and very Vogue. Love the color palettes on both of the covers. I don't know these people but they are shown in very good light.

I love the main cover, it could be my favourite from Vogue PH so far. Beautiful colours, and like everyone says, very glamorous.

It looks matronly

It’s that damn Bulgari necklace that makes it look like she’s got a grandmum doylee around her neck. Take it off and the shot is instantly classic American Vogue.

She resembles Bianca Jagger from certain shots. And a few shots are really gorgeous; The leading spread hints at Emma Summerton's easygoing elegance-- unfortunate there aren't more like that. The rest of the story is more Vogue Wedding/Tatler/MEGA rather than Vogue.

Unfortunate that Vogue Men seems to exist for tax purposes as it’s just another pamphlet again that’s on the level of Daman Magazine-- just with a heavily saturated color-palette.

Love the first cover everything is perfect apart from her expression. It needed some acting to pull off the luxurious styling. Whoever added those leather gloves is a genius. The second cover has beautiful colours but looks like Ai.

i really appreciate the effort they put in this issue, no reprints and the edits are beautiful

I just read this issue and I should say that Joyce Oreña should replace Bea Valdes in case she resigns. The beauty editorials of this edition are oftentimes the best parts of their issue.

I also like this editorial titled Tokyo Drift as well as Anne Curtis' cinematic editorial despite how blurry some photos are.

The cover story could have been better. They should have hired a better photographer because the quality of Pia's photos are poor. It's the same disappointment that I got from their cover story with Nadine Lustre a few month's ago. A grainy filter can't fix these horrible photos, I must say.

I didn't buy this month's Vogue Man even though I'm a huge Danyl fan. It's not his fault; it's about the greedy bosses of their publishing company, AGC. I'm not wasting 4 dollars for a pamphlet.
