These are gorgeous, the styling is WOWWW + the background + the style of photography = yesss, it's working and it's VOGUE so you can feel the vibe of elegance as well.
California country side? Where was that shot? It looks like it was shot in Northern California. Which is not a country side so much as a suburb - the hillside looks familiar. I need more info. Drop the rest of the issue's content, please.
Going by the coverline, and some whiffs from the shoot, Jo Ann’s Story seems to be a hint of a tribute to the glorious Avedon/Polly Melon/Versuschka “The Great Fur Caravan”. It’s nowhere close in glory to that shoot of course, but it’s decent enough (the doublepage select of the lodge shot is gorgeous), and the only worthy story in this issue. These lesser fashion rags really need to stop quoting Greats and reminding everyone why they’re just lessers quoting Greats.

The editorial "Clean Slate" by Chienyun Zhang is equally gorgeous as the "The Great Fur Caravan." However, I do not necessarily see it as an inspiration unless it was stated in the issue. I also love "Out of Town" by Alyssunxiaoran.
