Vogue Poland July/August 2023 by Mateusz Grzelak

definitely something the old Vogue Italia would do and I’m not mad about it.
it’s also giving Prada campaign by Meisel which is probably the same thing :D

The cover and main ed was created with AI. I don't care if it was an artistic collaboration. It's already a pass for me.

I really don’t feel good about this AI collaborations, thats maybe cause I actually don’t understand lol

Could've been better if they used actual people. Magazines think they're so edgy when they use AI.. LOL

Kinda eerie after knowing AI's behind it honestly.

And still crazy to think in a near future pretty much anyone in charge of these publications could be able to ask AI to make them any type of specific cover they want (whole issues really) without needing to book anyone or leave their office

I bought my copy this morning and the article for the main editorial said (i used a translator, sorry for that)
"We prepared the cover shoot for this issue using three AI tools, this text was created in cooperation with another one. What was supposed to be generation on command turned out to be a form of conversation, the course of which cannot be predicted."
And:
"AI is not very good at dealing with the nuances of a face or hand yet, it can lose a leg or double something" -
This means that the missing leg on the cover was not overlooked, they left it with full knowledge.

And this cover and editorial really remind me of Vogue Italia March 2020 with an imaginary model, same concept, I guess, same execution.

There are more editorials?

There are more editorials?
Yes, there are at least four other editorials, but none of them are related to AI.

"Paris-Dakar" - all Chanel by Ina Lekiewicz with Elisa Nijman
"Upłynnianie deontologi" by Bridget Fleming with Nikki McGuire, summer vibes
"Marzenia skrystalizowane" by Ina Lekiewicz with Kukua Williams, jewelry
"Ostrygi jadamy odważnie" by Gosia Turczyńska with Kristy Ponomar, summer by the lake

I love that their editor-in-chief, Ina, is very hands-on with the editorial content. It makes sense because
Vogue Polska is super cohesive since she took over this edition.
