Vogue Poland November 2021 by Erdem Moralioglu

I like these covers, probably because I like him!

These days, when a Vogue cover has a static group shot of models wearing fashion, it seems like a very refreshing sight.

Sad thing is, the imagery above is not much different to what gets produced on a regular basis by many 'lesser' magazines out there, like various editions of Bazaar, but because it has the Vogue title on it, people are willing to grant it an elevated status.

I like this. Actually fresh, everybody looks great, and slightly reminds me of that Mert and Marcus editorial Joie de Vivre with the paintings background, but the poses and the atmosphere feel like 00s Meisel, which is his best for me personally.

Honestly, one of the best covers this year, all three. See, you don’t need bullsh*t and dramatic statements for quality diversity, you just need beauty.

Could he stay only in the magazine he got, please

Nice but this needed a stronger cast. I’ll take the last one

Props to Ina for elevating this magazine. Every issue she puts looks like a collector's edition.

Collaboration with Erdem is not a suprise, cause Ina Lekiewicz was coowrking with him for years.

Covers are beautiful, someone on instagram compare them to polish painter Olga Boznanska works, and yes, they have that immpresionism mood.
And, as someone mentioned above, sad there's no stronger/better known cast on the covers. But, after all, i can't complain, this is unique and beautiful, must having this!

Each of them is sublime but my favorite is the last one.

I didn't know about the connection between Ina and Erdem, and I had never heard of Boznańska before. This information and reference are priceless to better understand and appreciate the covers. Thank you :flower:!

2nd and 3rd covers are very good but the 1st one is a disaster, it’s looks like they’re in line to be executed.

also, the models choice?… imagine this with other models? oh well.

but as I said, I do like and will probably grab it. hopefully the main editorial is good too.

I have always had a soft spot for Erdem and even if his last collections aren’t as brilliant as before I think it’s well deserved (he should’ve done a retrospective!)

I've always liked Erdem's Victorian inspired romanticism, but this looks dismal.
I love the cast but showing up on Vogue Poland seems so random.

Oh, please. It's like they took this straight out of one of those lengthy UK Bazaar stories that they do every other month. It's lovely, I like the mood but there is absolutely nothing special about these whatsoever. My favorite would be the third one, but with a softer masthead. It's giving very Vogue Italia Couture supplement (filler) material.

I love the idea here, the styling is gorgeous, and I'm a sucker for this kind of romanticism. There's something missing, though, just a spark of energy maybe? I get the deliberately static look, but no one is delivering an expression beyond "bored"... some expression and personality would have really elevated it.

That said, in the current landscape of trash and gimmicks, this is so welcome and refreshing, and I don't mean it in a shady way at all when I say A for effort.
