Such a shame that Vogue Arabia has never lived up to its stunning inaugural debut covershot.
The 2nd of the 3 covers is the default go-to choice, just cuz the others are so forgettable. …Until the realization that it’s such blatant rip-off of Alique’s covershot of Ana de Armas for Vogue Mexico’s October 2020 issue LOL L&I have always been the M&M wannabes— down to their branding, so originality isn’t really their strongest asset. But when your strongest shot for a cover is a rips-off of another photographers' from just a year ago, Vogue Arabia just comes off that much more pointless. And it really doesn’t have to be, since this is the one Vogue that could have been the most original, decadent and exclusive of them all.
