Vogue Portugal December 2018 : Stella Lucia by Szilveszter Mako

Yeah, no. Third cover please. Although I kind of like how Stella's career is taking a turn as she's becoming more of an indie darling, these covers are NOT good. And I don't think I like her hair dark. The animation on her face is ridiculous and try-hard.
And the second cover looks like those green car air freshener came to life.

Will wait for the third. So far Ukraine is the only one who got it right.

Hate me, but I love these covers and I would rather see more covers like these. I prefer indie looking magazines than cheap and tacky glamour mags like US Vogue for example.

Vogue&Confused.

(jk i'm a stan of VP and loved the first cover. Their target audience must be very different than other countries' and Vogue may trying to be the leading arts/culture/fashion magazine now in Portugal. I remember reading the April issue and they did have like really really long reads. Could anyone more familiar with the Portuguese media confirm my assumptions? )

What a strange concept for a Vogue cover. I don't like the covers but she looks gorgeous, I love her with with dark hair. She reminds me of a mix between Kristen McMenamy and 90's French model Claudia Huidobro.

LOVE how her face looks and also the dark hair. But I could definitely do without the sheep and things they put on her. I hope she has a great cover story!

Love the first one .. the fonts are a bit off but it’s the right combination of striking and fantasy I like seeing on covers of fashion magazines..

The second one is a...choice.

I love the first one. I found it poetic

The second cover can seriously pass for an American Horror Story: Coven poster

I am very much into the second cover. It's so eerie and Christmas-y in the worst possible way.

Third cover: Minnie Wastie and Camelia Petit (?) by Elina Kechicheva

they are all interesting photographs but none of them screams Vogue to me... they are more suitable for some sort of art journals...

Third cover is my favourite of the lot. Very dreamy and cinematic. If only the masthead would be in gold foil, would be even better.

Stay glassy Vogue Portugal. Just keep doing what you do. I don't even care if its on Vogue anymore.
