Post a Totally Random Moment From Fashion History...

These cool veils at Armani Privé 2012 one of my fav collections.
What I loved was he showed fairly simple gowns but the veils were a great way to sell the possible embroidery they can do without having to embellish all the sample pieces.

God I am dying to see some of the true Armani couture clients, it’s rare we get to see them, usually maybe a custom gown on the red carpet (or sample gowns) but rarely the power players who wear the fabulous jackets or daywear… as opposed to say Chanel clients where they pop up all the time especially in horribly proportioned pieces.

When Evanescence PERFECTLY recreated a Vogue cover in Everybody's Fool video, the director really managed to make a cover just like the ones Annie and Meisel did in the 2000s!

The idea of an ed inspired by a tv show is intereing but of course Glenda had to execute it in the corniest way possible. I can imagine what Meisel and Goldstein could have done with a concept like this back in their prime.
Meisel kind of did It with the Prada Fall 2010 campaign
