Vogue Portugal February 2017 : Susanne Knipper & Katlin Aas by Frederico Martins

I thought this whole "new look" was too good to be true. Back to the noise, word filled covers. Katlin's cover is the best but that red frame ruined a what could have been a decent cover.

Lol, well...it was good when it lasted. I agree with you about the border for Katlin's cover, it's a strong shot and I'd have loved it without as well. Can't stand her though.

Yeah they shouldn't experiment too much with the layout. The border works fine for Katlin's cover, but not for Susanne's... but maybe that's just because I hate green so much ;).

Like the new layout, looks fresh and different, makes the edition stand out from the rest of them.

That first cover hurts my eyes. TOO MUCH. The second one is a bit butter, but that's not saying much. Good for them for trying something different with the layout, but it doesn't work.

The makeup and hair are excellent :)

I'm rooting for Vogue Portugal. They've still come a long way.

^ I agree. I don't like these covers but hell this is way better than the crap they were doing 2 or 3 years ago. I just wish they would stay with the clean ones like the one with Guinevere or the December issue with the "beauty" cover. Those were by far their best covers to date.

And while the content is still very Elle/Harper's to my taste (another "how to reverse the signs of age"? "sexy, optimistic and charismatic"? Oh gosh), I would still buy it if the cover and main ed were good. But not this one.
