What's with the hair?

God, she looks awful!! The hair is ugly as well, but it looks like that was the point. I just don't think Hanne Gaby Ofdiele has the vibe to carry off this look perfectly.

No words..Hanne finally scoring covers, and this is what they come up with?! The type of image you would delete off your iphone after an evening joking around drunk with friends. How did this go to print?

With those colours, it has the feel of something that would have happened in the 90s, except we would have seen hair as straight as Georgina Grenville's and casual tailoring from Tom Ford's Gucci.

Just read the news Vogue Portugal is closing for good. The media group owning the magazine fired 50 collaborators and announced that Vogue's last edition will be September's.

This explains plenty. The sudden editorial/design change last year with all the top models (Guinevere, Malgosia), the foreign photographers getting covers, the then sudden return to the "ELLE-like" photography... The magazine's sales had a huge drop and this was, apparently, imminent for some time now. It's sad.

Sorry for the double post but I can't edit my last one:

Apparently it was just announced that the Lighthouse editions, holder of titles like the Portuguese GQ, will be now editing Vogue Portugal.

Not sure what this will mean for the magazine. GQ was tacky AF back in the day. Around 2014 it had so much photoshop it looked like Amica or something (and it was not the photographer's fault, they had a team that would edit whatever they sent over). I know this month's cover looks a bit like Dazed: fresh, youthful, clean. I think their team changed midway or something so I'm not sure what to expect from Vogue.
