Finally a cover by Ricardo Santos! Can't wait to check his editorial. He still knows how to work that "artsy" side that this magazine is so over-craving yet he does it in a very unpretentious and classy way without forgetting the clothes. This might be my favourite VPt cover of the year.
I don't know what they tried to go for but they somehow created an image that could fit into a fisherman's village theme. The large black dress (very common not only for widows but for most older Portuguese women), the deconstructed bob that resembles some great Portuguese actresses, the sun.
I couldn't care less for that first cover. That IS pretentious.
I'll wait for the rest of the content and maybe I'll buy my first Vogue Portugal of the year... let's see.
