Vogue Portugal September 2019 : Nana Skovgaard by Lucas Meneghel & Luca Aimee by Noemi Ottilia Szabo

I don't like the cover in the lake, but the other two are extremely beautiful. Also, I love the concept and appreciate the message they are sending to the readers. Maybe is not as stunning as their last september issue but it works very well.

The first cover looks like an art photography.
I love the second one; it's unconventional.
Without the plastic bag, the third cover looks very typical to me.

So boring as always.
Great they are bring awareness to a problem but will they be selling this magazine issue inside plastic as I seen it before.

First cover looks like a still for yet another remake of The Amityville Horrrow, second cover is a lazy Penn rip-off, only the 3rd cover works for me. But this magazine's covers are so try-hard. So annoyingly perfectly crafted, when it's trying to come off as whimsical avant-garde.

Anyway, I don't think Vogue should be engaging in these causes with themed issues. If they truly care about eco awareness, integrate it in your magazine on a regular basis. Normalise it. Because I really doubt whether those '400 pages of paper' which they so proudly voice from the rooftop will not feature with brands who still engage in chemical dyes and harmful synthetic materials, brands with an appalling human cost, brands who still test on animals. It just sounds like The Black Issue, or The China Issue, where magazines jump on diversity only to swiftly revert to the norm the next month.

totally agree with you!

The first two covers are not worth commenting, but the one with the plastic bag used as a veil... such a great idea! I'm usually against this type of try-hard creativity, but this is stunning and sends a great message.
