Vogue Russia June 2017 : Natasha Poly by Txema Yeste

hahaha what is this? looks like cheap supplement and why she doesnt look like herself?

Yeste better run away as fast as possible when they are asking him to do "commercial"

What a waste of Natasha!
Beside the fact that's her 100th (?) Vogue Russia cover it looks like an Elle editorial. And I don't like the light..there's no energy.

I don't hate it, it's vibrant and summery. Perfect for June. Someone should however tell Natasha Poly it's ok to crack a smile every now and then, a cheerful smile would have done wonders for this image. She always looks so serious.

^ Yeah Benn98 there's an obvious fresh and "enjoy Summer" purpose, but the final result is artificial, static, lifeless.

Looks like a vintage cover to me. Love the colors!

I love it! Although I agree, a cheerful and natural smile would have made it perfect! But I love the vibrant colors so much. The preview looks promising, it reminds me of the Gucci S/S 2010 campaign, and I truly miss this kind of editorials. Hope it won't disappoint!

Now This Would Have Been An Ovah Cover

How boring. :sideways:

I think the cover had a lot of potential considering the photographer and model but unfortunately the image chosen doesn't make a good cover shot, Natasha doesn't even look like herself. I bet the editorial will be 1000x times better.

That preview shot is much better. On the cover Natasha looks like a very generic model.

^Yeah I agree. The preview looks more promising than the cover. can't wait to see the ed.

She's too stiff in the face considering she's leaping on a beach. The vibe is cool.

Yes-- a smile would go a long way and melt the iciness.

And as some have mentioned, it is very vintage-y in a nice ELLE and even Sports Illustrated way. Along with the saturated colors of summer, and a Natasha's sleek, womanly physique, it's such a great relief from all the blandness, the juvenile casts, the flatness that seems to have taken over high fashion presentations these days.

Dree Hemingway is that you, girl?!!! How sad that even with someone as stunning as Poly they had to mess up her face like this!!

Zero interest in a jumping, plastic looking Barbie, when the actual woman is so much more interesting, and worthy!

This had so much potential judging by the preview. I was expecting a bit more especially when my favourite photographer and model team up so I cannot hide my disappointment. Anyway, I'm sure the editorial would be way better.
