This is no doubt the start of us being bombarded with Olivia Rodrigo on fashion magazines. Elle, V Magazine, Teen Vogue and now Vogue Singapore. I'm unable to understand the hype surrounding her, don't find her remotely interesting and these covers are a total non-event, IMO.

^I agree one hundred percent, her facial and body expressions are the opposite of compelling. One would think that with the need for stars nowadays to be on some sort of media 24/7, the music industry would put more effort in finding "artists" that can communicate effortlessly to the camera, alas...

Yeule is such a good artist, so committed and fascinating. She should have gotten the cover: she's about to release her sophomore LP and Singapore is her birthplace.

P.S. Glad to see that high contrast and saturation are coming back to fashion! I was starting to die of boredom seeing the kind of grey, badly lit and poorly edited crap that gets printed on Vogue and many other magazines around the world.

I'm assuming these images were posted as they appear in the actual magazine, which if it's the case, I can't say Norman has found his feet ye. And it has been, what a year now? He has gone from a firm vision at Esquire Singapore to basically making it up as he goes along for every issue of Vogue Singapore so far. And I am one of those who never really thought there was a real difference between editing a men's vs women's magazine. I actually rooted for Kate Lanphear at Maxim.

The main issue here is the editing from his end, the sequence of some good, some ok, and some awful images. The very first cover looks great albeit like a British Vogue beauty edit outtake. But what was Peter Ash Lee thinking with Olivia's edit? What was the concept? It's all over the place. And the fact that Norman thought it was ok to post it? Yeah, no.

Norman must get his shii together. He can clearly pull names, but the magazine's layout looks budget, and he needs to sharpen his editor's eye!
