Vogue Taiwan April 2021 by Zhong Lin

I love these, they actually make those Burberry looks desirable. Can't wait for the editorial, another hit for Vogue Taiwan.

Vogue Taiwan show Vogue Hong Kong how to do a high fashion nature theme.

God, not only Vogue HK, the rest of them as well!

Absolutely love these images. As a cover, I don't like the first one because it simply doesn't work, and also....full body cover again, which a NO for me. The image is splendid though. Helped not only by the chic styling but also by the lighting.

I'm almost getting anxious that they're doing too spectacularly well, does that mean the downturn will be spectacularly awful? But oh well, let me just enjoy this moment.

The still life is so cool. This shadows on the full body shot is a bit cheesy.

If they fire Leslie and go back to whatever the hell they doing before her. Might as well close the magazine altogether.

Remember in July last year when they failed to produce a stunning cover and people were very quick to criticize them? That.

THIS IS STUNNING! I was very excited to click on this thread because this edition
always produces tasteful unconventional covers. Other editions should follow what they are doing.

I'll also pass on the first cover, but the second is simply magnificent! What an unexpectedly exciting magazine. The image reminds me a bit of Natalie Portman's movie Annihilation. It's not exactly fashion, but it works. Beautiful!

I actually prefer the first one, it is something a bit different. The flowers on the face we have seen about 5 billion times now, however, the actual florist work is amazing, I must say.

I love the first one because it’s such a different take on the Nature concept. I love it. It works.

The second cover is beautiful, but it’s nothing we haven’t seen before.

Leslie reinvigorated this magazine and she will be remembered for that. Margaret Zhang needs to step her game up cause her work will be compared to Leslie’s.

Love the first, they did it in a classy way otherwis eit would have turned out ANTM like. The second is aethestically pleasing but akes my skin crawl

the second cover is cute but haven’t we seen a floral overload lately?

New Vogue Taiwan always reminds me of Vogue Portugal which is rather unloved by a lot of members here for being insipid or try hard
Personally I don’t mind it but I really can’t tell the difference

Especially for spring? Groundbreaking.~

I do find the picture arresting though.

Leslie’s Vogue Taiwan reminds me of Dazed in its heyday (or shall I say, Dazed and Confused?~), in the sense that they’re not afraid to be conceptualized and experimental but are still able to retain its refinement and not resort to gratuitous gimmicks (cough, Farneti, cough).

Compositional wise the first cover is not really working. But I love the concept.

Love the second cover. Even though their faces are covered, it’s really good.

In a few years Vogue TW managed to go from the worst Vogue to one of (if not) the best Vogue editions out there! Amazing! I love all their covers & photoshoots lately.

Month after month, I'm stunned they have managed put out consistent quality. That just doesnt exist nowadays.
