It's not actually that bad beyond the covers as one would think. The last two edits look really cool, better than Vogue China and their tremendous budgets. That first shot of Black Power would make a slick cover!

As for the cover, it's a trainwreck as expected. The Chanel shot should've been used instead. It's a shame it looks this bad because Gwei Lun-Mei is a very capable actress. Anyone who's into art-house cinema should see Yang Ya-che's The Bold, The Corrupt And The Beautiful.

I'm totally with you on this, my dear Benn98! :flower:

Considering that Taiwan has almost 14 times less population than USA, for example, this amount of the original work (they had only one reprint in this issue ("Way Out Yonder" by Mario Testino from the US's September issue), I think that we have to give credit to Sky Wu (Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Taiwan) solely based on that.

Yes! I posted my comment as you were uploading (thanks, btw! :flower:) and I'm amazed at the sheer amount of edits, let alone how good they look. And especially for an October issue!

Mad about shot 1 & 2 of Office Rapsody!

I didnt’t know they were capable of producing these strong editorials! The photos grow from strength to strength. I like it. It has the touch of the “indie” / watered down filter photography that is in right now, but at the same time, something about it is very distinct. Like I wouldn’t assume that it came from another magazine.

Makes me even more disappointed with the covers that they produce. The Chanel shot would’ve made a better cover. And my goodness, a revamp of that layout would make Vogue China run for their money.

And I do agree, I actually enjoyed every shot as compared to what I’ve seen in years from Vogue China.

This is the very first time I have seen this magazine produce good looking editorial stories!!! The cover is as usual a BIG MESS but they are FINALLY improving lol it took them long enough...

Haven"t seen this magazine for a while here. Wow, I'm impressed with the editorials here. The cover is appalling but still an improvement from their usual route.

I’m surprised by the editorials too. They aren’t anything groundbreaking but they are quite decent.

Now if only they could just get rid of these annoying celebs covers and get some models....

Office Rhapsody is great and I like the cheekiness.

The cover is still bad, but waiT...these editorials is a wow.
