Vogue Thailand November 2013 : Naomi Campbell by Marcin Tyszka

Too much retouching! This cover could have been really nice.

That second picture is simply tragic. They butchered her face.

It doesn't help that she is wearing blue contact lenses, but this white-washing is beyond excessive.
This is Naomi F-ing Campbell FFS! Wake up Vogue Thailand/Marcin Tyszka!

Editor in Chief's Statement on Naomi Cover

The cover shot of Naomi Campbell was taken in Paris by Polish photographer Marcin Tyszka, whose signature style is pastel, with light (natural) soft colours created by using lighting techniques and make-up for his results. In his own words he explains, “ Naomi is always super sexy – our idea was to create the Prada ‘60s look – more natural – pastel – sweet – soft.”

It was an incredible opportunity for me to work with such an icon as Naomi Campbell and we were so pleased that she agreed to grace our November cover. We chose Naomi because she represents a strong, intelligent and beautiful woman and we did not enhance or need to enhance her looks in any way.

We at Vogue Thailand believe in the universal beauty of women and I have had a chance to work with so many gorgeous women such as Liu Wen, Carolyn Murphy, and Coco Rocha as our cover models, and to be able to add Naomi into our portfolio is something that I am very proud of.

gees eveyone is always on board to knock down Vogue Thailand. I love it!

Vogue Thailand, Vogue Ukraine, Vogue Taiwan, Vogue Portugal, Vogue India... Are they really necessary? Vogue will become the new Harper's (or even the new Elle).

This is just beyoooooooooond cheap.

Ukrainian Vogue is better than Russian and Japanese Vogue though in my opinion.

Cheap or not, I love the fact that they use relevant international models on the covers and not even one reprint cover so far. :flower:

Im not sure about Taiwanese and Portuguese Vogue though.

Love it ... Don't forget she is a model and she is paid to interpret different creative visions ... It's a set of photos that is not normal for her and she does look different this time.

It reminds me of the scandal back in 2005-06 period (can't remember exactly) when she did an Italian cosmetics brand campaign and they lightened her skin way more than this...
