How big is their budget? Sasha on the cover, Valery Kauffmann on location for a filler edit? Or maybe Valery's stock went down? Either way, not complaining. It's great to see such a diverse selection of edits. Even the lazy Miles Aldrige edit and Barbie story (which I'm not getting at all, but anyway) looks passable. Thanks for posting Zorka, because we rarely see content from this edition.
I thought Sasha's edit would be a vague ode to British Harper's, in terms of styling. A bit disappointing as a whole though. Maybe Sasha should just pack it in. She doesn't have the type of sensibility and presence to work with the new guard photographers. The ennui and 'street' type poses etc. She's trying really hard though, but it just ends up looking sad and embarrassing.
Whatever happened to Numéro Thailand??? Their covers were a scream each and every month, dripping with garish camp. The print accompaniment to Ru Paul's Drag Race.
