Eeck! Too much red, and Lindsey's expression looks off. The shot doesn't work as a cover I'm afraid.

It reminds me of that W cover with Marion Cotillard but W did better that´s for sure. It´s an ok cover, not fantastic, it´s a picture good for an editorial but not for the front cover.

It's too much red. Red is everywhere. And this nude make up doesn't fit at all. Even red lipstick will be better!

I love red-on-red covers, but you have to be careful with it - it's such a powerful colour, it'll always stand out when on sale, but you have to make some sort of statement in the picture, or else what's the point of the saturation of red?

By 'statement', I mean using the colour to add a sense of danger to a shot, or to give a glamourous/gothic twist, or - using a lighter touch - to play up the otherworldly look of a redhead like Lily Cole (magxone.com / gofugyourself.com

I think this could have worked much better with a different model. Anytime I see Lindsey in a photo, my eyes go immediately to her open mouth.

They had Lindsay on the cover before. If its fall collections beginning issue its too much red. even Spanish magazines who love red doesn't use this much vibrant red. I wish they had it less vibrant color and another model.
mostly magazines love to use red in December issue covers not August issues
