Vogue Ukraine May 2016 : Joséphine Le Tutour by An Le

I love everything but the hair, it's too Little Lord Fauntleroy.

HUH? Can you elaborate on how this magazine is the most interesting Vogue in terms of covers right now? I'm looking at their covers since January and they're basically models in front of plain backgrounds... I mean, okay... I'm not seeing it at all. April's was like an ANTM disaster.

Fashion magazines are in a terrible state right now, but let's not get crazy.

Which editions are producing more interesting covers?

Space Oddity
Photographer An Le
Fashion Editor/Stylist Olga Yanul
Hair Stylist Nabil Harlow
Makeup Artist Seong Hee Park
Casting Director Victoria Pavon
Manicurist Rica Romain
Producer Victoria Pavon
Model Josephine Le Tutour

They're all equally boring. This edition isn't much better than the rest of them.

You pretty much sum up a big part of my thoughts regarding this magazine. It's not bad, far from it somehow but they (Vogue UA, I mean) do not bring anything new to the table and sometimes I just feel like they want to please the legions of nostalgic minds on TFS with their covers and editorials. If they really want to make something different they can always hire photographs and stylists thinking out of the square box and/or pick models with unusual looks (saying this, I do truly like Joséphine a lot but she's still on the B-list of the safe area).

i just love her  love what she's wearing on the cover just not sure about the hair

Amazing! I just loved this, and so good to see Joséphine, congrats for another vogue cover

Amazing! The futuristic theme is not new but this one is truly fresh. Very cinematic, indeed.

Nice to see Joséphine in such a different vibe. I love the editorial.

Wow! Vogue Ukraine should get more appreciation! Loving Josephine in it

Wow, the feature is ten times better than the cover. The opening shot to the edit is the strongest. I cannot stop marveling at how well the set design, styling and Joséphine's poses blend here.

I don't see anything interesting about this cover
to me the styling is a mess and the wig ruins everything imo

Exactly. I don't think this magazine is terrible, but not being actively bad doesn't man that a magazine is good.

Beautiful! Love that the whole issue is going with the theme!

Thanks guys for the edits.

You know, Josephine’s story would have worked a lot stronger if they just tossed out the x-rays— which come across so literal and what one may see in a fashion student’s submission to one of those online indie rags; Yes, we get it’s a sharp, clinical, antiseptic tone, we don’t need the try-hard visual guides, VU.

this issue is great, like an old VI one. Love Josephine and Kathrin.
