Vuitton Cleo/Pompeii?

Hi everyone, I wonder if you can help?

I was lucky enough to buy a pair of these beautiful Marc Jacob/Vuitton's, back in mid 04;

but, Harrods had lost the care card, and didn't know if they would be getting the shoes back in, so for the sake of the care card, I got them. Yay!

However, I've not really been able to find out much info about them since. I have the style number (which I think is 513853 - that could be a Harrods ref, though) and in the Vuitton shoe catalogue, they are just called "Velvet Wedge". I've since seen them refered to as either "Cleo" shoes or "Pompeii" shoes, and wondered if anyone knew which was correct?

Also, I have a problem with the velvet, in that, the tassels, cause the velvet to "indent". I had covered them in tissue paper, under the tassels, but have now discovered the velvet has taken the indentation of the tissue paper creases!

Any info/advice would be much appreciated!

Velvet crushes at the slightest provocation. To some extent you can brush it back up (clean, soft toothbrush), but you have to be gentle about it. If the tassels cover the dents reasonably well, just leave it alone - that's safer.
