I've noticed, as you all probably have...that crazy haircuts are one of the new trends for the new wave of models doing well in fashion! so i thought I'd make a thread based on that!
here's a few examples to get us started

One of the most famous ones- Irina Lazareanu

supreme is kind of known for drastically changing hair

Alison N and Cierra J both look much worse in the after shots! The rest of them are good.

:flower:

It's the season of Mod you see. It isn't exactly wacky to me, intriguing though.

Olya Ivanisevic

Rima Lavich

Expect to see more of her come European show season. :innocent:

Just look like 1960s hair cuts to me? I like 'em and still seriously considering getting a 60's bob! :D

Their not necessarily “whacky” but quite transforming. I love the very short cuts with blunt fringes. I also think Alison Nix’s cut is actually really gorgeous but maybe that particular picture doesn’t show that too well. I loved that specific bowl type 60's hair cut from as far back as Fall 2004 when Jessica Stam had something very similar. (Falls D&G advertisements). I didn’t know so much models were having such drastic changes to their hair. I've considered getting the same style done, but havn't managed to pluck the courage to snip off all my lengthened locks. Rima Lavich looks nice but i've always been unsure about Maria Carla's new do. I think it's the addition of new colour which keeps me unsure. I'd probably love it if her hair was still dark.

I agree...when i first read the thread title, I was expecting more color and more bold styles

i think the big thing is that bangs/fringe are 'of the moment'...
and everyone is getting them...

does anyone have pics of jessica stams makeover after she worked with meisel?
that jet black haircut that was cut real short. i thought that looked so cool on her, combined with her skin tone and eye color.

those xamples are not wacky, basically it's just 'pop' bangs really..

in general, 'real strange' haiscuts are getting very popular over here, talking 'real' life no catwalk editoril

seems that people are getting bored with same old and safe, they want to have some fun with hairstyle and just a weird flashy colour is certainly not enough anymore.
