Wakeema Hollis

That weave/wig looks better than many of the ones I've seen her wear but nothing will ever compare to her kinky curly afro.

Sorry but I LOVE her new hair, she looks like she's ready to be in charge with the new look

She looks great with her nice look, but im so use to seeing her with her afro. The afro makes her stand out alil more, but either one she still looks great.

Did she ever do Paris shows?
I don't think she did but I was just curious.

^ She needs to be booked for alot more shows! What are designers thinking not using her? I say that for alot of other talented black/dark skinned models as well. Designers for Milan and Paris Fashion Week hardly ever choose models of color. Sad, because I see alot of these designs and think how wonderful and/or spectacular those clothes would look on models with dark skin.

^yeah totally. but i think part of the problem is that wakeema and chanel have a similar look, ancd chanel gets most of the jobs. it's like why pay for 2 when you can just have one?

obviously i don't agree with this thinking but i'm just saying.

^ I respectfully disagree, if that were the case Wakeema would be booking more shows then Chanel. Chanel didn't books too many shows for whatever reason this season and Wakeema never does good after NYFW. Their looks aren't all that simular in my opinion, and that shouldn't determine whether they get the job because there are ~Tons~ of white models that look almost identicle imo and they seem to get booked for the same shows and more almost every season. Just look at the two models in my avatar (mainly Ataui) they too face the same problem as Wakeema. People in the fashion industry just have messed up thinking, nothing new about that.
