What Are You Wearing Today . . . On Your Face?

Lancome aquafusion gel creme
YSL teint eclat de soie in #5
Satin de Chanel face shimmer in pink
Dior maximeyes in "maxi black"
Lancome juicy tube lip gloss in "Dreamsicle"

Clarins Hydra-matte lotion
Clarins Souffle de Tint 02
Jane Curling mascara
Clarins anti-aging lip cream

Same as every day (just add mascara and eyeliner and you have my evening look). Suffice to say I'm not terribly adventurous with make-up.

Clarins Translucide foundation (a very little bit on the t-zone)
Ruby and Millie concealer on my zit (there's always one spoiling it for me)
Origins 'Pinch Your Cheeks'
Lancome 'Les Sourcils' eyebrow pencil in Brun
Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream on lips

BTW: Re Pinch Your Cheeks I bought a dud tube - was only half full - and I must say the customer service was exemplary. I phoned and told them the situation, they sent me a brand new tube straight away, no fuss, no bother, didn't even ask me to return the half-empty tube. Isn't it wonderful when a company understands the value of taking care of their customers? Brilliant.

I like autumn/winter season because you can put anything style for make-up. Nude, smoky, vamp lips, fire red, sexy violet eye, bronze make up for the day. My regular prep always the same, but I change the colour of eyeshadows or eyeliner, blush depend on my mood.

Me- today make-up:

Foundation: Armani silk luminous no. 5,5
Powder : Bobbi Brown Loose powder pale yellow
apply with brush
On cheek : I mix Stila bronzing with Versace blush in peach

Eyes : set eyes with Guerlain concealer stick in natural mix with Chanel liquid age delay eye. Dab Chanel's new ombre d'eau before Stila in Casis, and add bobbi brown in rich brown at the outer corner. Lancome Flextensils, Mac brow pencil and liquid liner.

Lips : set guerlain lip balm first, chanel lip pencil in lilyrose. Apply guerlain matte no. 461. Then chanel glossimer in 44 naturel.

For me it's chic. ;)

Ok, this is probably a very dumb question, but I'm confused...

When someone refers to nude lips, do they mean nude as in nothing on the or nude as in a color that's closer to your skin color to fade out the pinkness of the lips? Or something else entirely? I've been wondering for a while, but I didn't want to start a new topic. Thanks in advance for you help! :flower:

Nude lippy means that you put something (lipstick, glossimer, or matte lip) to your lips and the colour is closer to your lip. I suggest you to combine with smoky eyes or the new look "vampy eyes". Set your foundation to your lips too, and apply lip pencil... be aware do not too dark or too red, then put your nude lipstick.

Never get bored to try your paint. :flower:

Adrina.

I still don't understand. Is the lip color supposed to be about your ordinary color? My lips are not at all pale, so I don't usually add much color there anyway. Or do you mean that the lip color that you put on is more like your skin color a bit to mute the natural color of your lips? I'm sorry to be so think, but I still don't really get it.

Reddish bronze cream eyeshadow, Topped with bronze eyeshadow - ff Perfect Disc Medal Colors
Dark grey shadow used as eyeliner
Revlon eyeliner on the bottom.
MAC Splashproof lash
Used Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler
MAC Studio Finish Concealer
Set with Clean & Clear Facial Powder under the eyes only.

Going out with my friend today!!!

Ooh, this is my first time posting in this thread (mainly because, as a makeup rookie, I usually go out bare-faced). Today, I wore:

-- Laura Mercier foundation primer (does that count as makeup?)
-- Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer in Sand
-- Stila Illuminating Powder Foundation in 40 Watts
-- Vincent Longo Bi-Brow Powder Pomade in Black
-- Benefit Benetint
-- Vincent Longo Lipgloss in Dulce

I really, really like the Laura Mercier combo. It looks super-natural and feels really lightweight. Plus, it helps any other makeup I apply overtop last longer. And maybe it's my imagination but my face doesn't seem to get as oily as fast. Love it!

I am working my way up to wearing mascara/eyeshadow soon. :)

MAC Tempt Me eye palette
MAC blush
Benefit dandelion
MAC prolong lash
MAC tinted lip conditioner

Sorry to make unclear for you. Nude colour means beige tendance. If your lips colour are pink, do the paint on beige tone. pink is pink, not nude. people get nude/beige lip colour as well as nothing there and match with smoky eyes. Form your lips with only a tiny soft lip pencil (preferred brown beige) to cover the pink lips. ;)
