As of tomorrow I work in an opticians and I have to be pretty smart, so no pretty shoes for work unfortunately, i have a nice pair from office, the heel is 4" which is fine, but they rub like mad on my feet by the end of the day so they're just too painful ( no pic at the mo)

I bought these wedges for work on friday from office, they're comfy and pretty plain. i just can't wear flat shoes, they make my legs ache so I got these ones with just a small hell to keep me satisfied... they're still pretty ugly though..

I usually wear a pair of coach slingbacks I bought a few months ago.... or some loafer type shoes I got from aerosoles...

Actually.. Aerosoles shoes (when you find a cute design) are actually REALLY comfortable.

I work at home, so I can wear just about anything I want. Often I wear the same ones I wore when I was on my feet all day in retail, namely these really comfortable wedges:

I'm a student/graduate TA, so it really depends. If I'm teaching/assisting I'll usually wear my Jimmy Choo sling backs (Not too sexy, not to matronly).

If I'm in class, hoofing all over campus, anything comfortable - Puma sneakers and whatnot.

That's kinda uncommon.... having foot problems WITHOUT a heel...!

They're pretty cool and they look extra comfy but I couldn't wear those in my environment... you're lucky.

I think its because i wear heels most of the time so i'm just not used to flat shoes, i feel to frumpy in flats anyway.

I survived my first day at my new job today in my wedges, they may not be pretty, but they are comfy tomorrow i'm going to wear my black round toe'd leather 4" mary janes with my vivienne westwood pencil skirt and a nice black shirt me thinks, felt daft in trousers today.

i don't think these are ugly for work- what brand are they?

In my school, we don't have any uniform so I usually wear boots in winter and sandals in summer. I also love Stella McCartney trainers.
