have not really perfect ankles, but in the right shoes they look perfect, in the wrong shoes they look thick.right shoes for me are pointy slightly elongated with stiletto heels that goes under the heel:
an example:

The above I have to wear with similar color stocking for perfect result.

wrong shoes for me - are rounded with thick heel that is slightly back wards

For example I have these, but I wear them with pants only:

These I wouldn't dare to buy and wear, but I'm 5.8 - so - but I like them on other people:

or these I won't buy although I like them:

I feel so limited by all this.
what shoes makes your leg perfect and why?

Anything with a pointy toe makes your legs look good, especially if you are on the shorter side cause it gives the illusion of longer legs.

yes, even though I'm tall and have long legs pointy shoes makes my legs looking better even when I wear pants!

I'm not worried about my ankles, so much as my muscular-ish legs... so I guess it just comes to making my legs look perfect.

Pointy shoes, I agree... luckily I have smaller feet (5.5 - 6), so smaller shoes... love beautifully pointed heels..

"muscular-ish legs" is a great plus in my opinion. I love very defined calves on high heels

High heels

Hi,
It's the heel height that does it for me. You need enough height to tighten up the calves, elongate the ankles and make the thighs and bum look tight and toned! Heels should be worn at all times by those who care about the appearance of their legs in my opinion!
No pain, no gain!!

if you have a heavy calf, steer clear of wearing 'thin/skinny' heels with skirts (fine with pants of course). If you have a thin calf, steer clear of thick/heavy heels.

thick ankles...keep away from straps, and don't go for things that cut length from the front view of your leg

stilettos or flats - no chunky heels

no round toes ever- make my feet look wide(r)

ankle straps or ankle boots only with pants otherwise make my legs look short

tan your legs and put on some pointy heels in:

1. nude/light camel, or
2. light brown
3. gold

it is an instant leg skinnifier. (the continuity is super elongating.)

conversely, black heels as a color are not flattering because it cuts your leg off...

All I know is that if you have cankles, you shouldn't wear anything that ties on your ankle

I really like those CL Sarah B's you posted. I got them but my wide feet were spilling out of the sides  Exchanged them right way..

I actually went to try on some shoes before posting... I did notice that ankle straps make my legs look a little shorter, but I still wear them. A thinner heel helps, but biggest difference was in the heel height. One thing that makes my feet look absolutley awful and that I never buy are really thin strappy shoes

I really hate pointy shoes, no matter how long they make my legs look.

I used to prefer round toe over pointy but the trick is getting a subtly pointy one (not the "witchy" looking kind). Like CL helmuts or horatio for example - they're heavenly. They do wonders for the ankles.

Surprisingly I also have a pair of Miu Miu slip ons that really flatter my ankles; they're kind of round but squared off if that makes any sense. I think it might be because the front part is small with a tiny bit of toe cleavage.

Yeah, I find it's nearly impossible to find cheap stilettos with a pointy heel because most cheaper shoes have the witch/elf thing going on!

I generally don't wear round-toed shoes and especially nothing with a chunky heel. I feel like they're just clumsy and clunky looking on me.

I feel ya on the muscular legs.

Damn you for having tiny feet! I wear a size 8 and sometimes I think my feet look massive in pointy toe shoes, but I dont give a damn.
