I like to read the trend reports as well as film and book reviews. Mainstream magazine articles usually bore me but I find Dazed and Confused articles interesting. I mostly buy magazines for the editorials.

I assume we're discussing fashion publications mainly:

The beauty pages.

Interviews with designers / artists / anyone who isn't a film star since those interviews tend towards being really superficial in certain magazines. If it is a quality magazine with some journalistic integrity though I'll read those as well though.

Any article about design, culture or art.

Excerpts from books or original essays - though fashion magazines tend to do these less and less which is a shame.
