What looks best with black wedges? I need this ASAP!!!

Tomorrow(Saturday), I'm going dress shopping for an event and I already have the shoes. They're very feminine black wedges. I want to go for a black dress since I like my shoes to match my dress. But just in case I don't find a good black dress, what else would look good with them? Also, what length is best with wedges? I was thinking of getting a dress that goes just past the knees, but what do you guys think is best? Please help, I'm desperate!

i think that full skirts look best with wedges and are also the most 'modern' silhouette...
a fun print that has some black in it might be nice with a blk wedge also....
