Michyed, if you're wanting a good gel cleanser I would definitely suggest Dermalogica's Special Cleansing Gel

dermalogica precleanse
dermalogica special cleansing gel
md skincare alpha/beta daily face peel
jurlique rosewater balancing mist
trilogy organic rosehip oil
dermalogica total eye care

^:o Dermalogica sounds very promising. Is the gel a bit drying for you though? I'm reading the reviews too, most of them are very promising, I'm just worried because a few people have said that it gets drying. Ohh, and yay, they sell it here!

Mario Badescu Aloe Vera Toner
Neostrata Ultra Smoothing Lotion AHA 10
Mario Badescu Olive Eye Cream

^I find it drying...okay, I find most things drying  But I do think it works best on combination/oily skin

Olay Complete SPF 15. I keep it simple ^_^

Belowen, what does the Jurlique Rosewater do for you?

Last night it was...

Shu Uemura High Performance Balancing Cleansing Oil Fresh
Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner
Neostrata Ultra Smoothing Lotion AHA 10 (This is kind of making my skin purge again, oh no. The bf comes back tommo and I don't want him to see me like this )
Nuxe Creme Fraiche
Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse all over my body, I'm still all moisturized in the morning :D
Mario Badescu Olive Eye Cream

Michyed: I have combo/oily skin and live in a warm climate and the cleanser isn't drying at all on my skin. Ida, maybe it dried you out because of the climate?

Sav: I use the rosewater as a toner. It soothes my skin, and seems to balance everything before I add my moisturiser. I love it, and it smells beautiful.

Skinceuticals Foaming Cleanser
DYI DMAE water
Skinceuticals Serum 15 AOX+
Shiseido Future Solution eye cream
Dior Bronze Protection Solaire SPF 30

MAC Volcanic Ash Exfoliator
Clarins Men Active Face Wash
Clarins Toner with Iris
Clarins Santal Face Treatment Oil
Native Virgin Olive Oil

i been using that method (minus the exfoliator) for a whole week now. no breakout. no greasyness. i wake up with super soft skin. both thumbs up for using olive oil as a moisturizer!

It dries a lot of people out. It even dries me out in the summer as well :( But you can buy a travel size bottle if you just want to try it out :magic:

I looked at the ingredients list of the Jurlique rosewater, and there's alcohol in it. I don't see why one can't use ordinary rosewater as a toner instead? I do that, and it works out fine. And it's $3 pr 250 ml  I just add a tiny bit of lemon juice. It works fine, really, and it smells nice as well!

Tonight I got frustrated with my increasingly flaky skin. Retinol...
So...
Sisley Lyslait
Bi-carb soda scrub - makes skin smooth as a babies bottom
DIY DMAE water
Skinceuticals Serum 15+ AOX
Clarins Beauty Repair Serum
Shiseido Future Solution eye cream
Ren Biomimetic Lip Honey

Just my basic routine...

Last night:
Clairins night cream
Clairins eye contour balm

Today:
Clairins day cream for normal skin
Clairins eye contour balm

I feel a little dried out again now in the afternood. I think I will slap on a bit of Biotherm Aquasource...always like that. As the Clairins day cream is coming to an end I should perhaps get the for dry skin with winter and all ^_^

It is pretty hard getting the toner the way you like it. I found out that I needed to add some Nuxe oil, simply because it wasn't moisturizing enough. It worked out fine in the end (after 3 attempts :ninja:), I just have to remember to shake the bottle beforehand :innocent:

Last night:
Bioderma Crealine H2O cleanser
La Roche-Posay Effaclar astringent lotion
Rosewater toner
Embryolisse Lait Creme-Concentre

Today:
Rosewater toner
Embryolisse Lait Creme-Concentre

^Awww, is water still being terrible to your face? :(

Shu Uemura Balancing Cleansing Oil Fresh
Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner
Neostrata Ultra Smoothing Lotion AHA 10
Nuxe Creme Fraiche
Mario Badescu Olive Eye Cream

(Body)
Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse
Cliven Fluid Body Cream For Dry Skin

I just can't bring myself to use toners. I have pretty good/easy going skin and whenever I use toners I get these flare ups of bright pink on a certain spot on my cheek. I just stay away from that ever since. Also, something else that does not work for me is Shiseido. Whatever I try, it just does not work....

Every skin has it's preferences I guess ^_^

^Maybe what you need is a gentle, non-alcoholic toner with barely any ingredients... I am talking of course, about Mario Badescu toners :brows:
