What Skin Care Did You Use Today?

Something I used today has made my skin look red like I've been out in the sun. I think I know the culprit, either this cleanser or a serum, or both!

I have NO foaming cream cleanser right now, out of my La Prairie (devastated ) and so I'm considering getting a Shiseido one...anyway I used and I know it was the biggest mistake (whispers.... I-Skin Gentle Cleanser dont even know if that is what its called) on my Clarisonic, then Erno Laszlo chilled toner, some La Prairie Cellular Retexturizing Booster and then this sample which I think also in the past one or two times I used it I didnt like how my skin stung for a bit, its by Pure Fusion and called Age Defense Radiance Revealing Serum or some crap, THEN my moisturizer was Cle De Peau Beaute Revitalizing Emulsion and on my throat Clarins Extra-Firming Day Lotion.

I think it was the cleanser (which was gel-like, got in BOTH my eyes with me not even using my hands, and stung) and the tacky Pure Fusion crap.

I just dont have perfect skin today. I look a bit sunburnt. Going to drink a ton of water the remainder of the day.

Kiehl's brightening moisturizer (love this too! makes my skin look really clear and bright!)

Never have tried Kiehl's on my face except for their Ultra Facial Moisturizer and that was way too greasy, so I've never tried anything again...those last two products sound interesting though. I am happy to see you, [vogue]!

Dermalogica PreCleanse
All out of La Prairie Foam Cleanser so I used Nano Silver Cyclic Soap, has Vit A, B, C, D, and very little other ingredients...would not nnormally use soap on my face but this has some good ingredients and so far I dont feel like my skin feels any differently.
Afterwards I used Dermalogica Skin Prep Scrub (this is awesome and really brought all the blackheads to the surface on/in creases of my nose to extract)

I read it was $250. I would have died and gone to heaven to represent Natura Bisse. As I was just mentioning in their thread in this forum, their products ARE expensive, but its really worth it, because you literally need tiny amounts of the creams, they spread well, the serums I like at least two pumps, and the cleansers last a good while. Anyhow, damn all these cosmetic companies, I want a job so badly where I can sell these lines and make a good income and get a nice discount!

Tonight-I cleansed my skin and applied all my products (minus eye cream) in 25 minutes! It is because I didnt use my Clarisonic Skincare Brush or exfoliate.

I have been using this soap when I'm feeling tired and lazy, its got really minimal ingredients:Nano Silver 99.99% Purified, Collagen, Silica, Chitosan, Sericin, Aloe, Vitamins A, E, & D
then some witch hazel after a couple extractions on nose
elsewhere Erno Laszlo toner
ReVive Intensite Volumising Serum (Figure I might as well use something luxurious)
Karin Herzog Vita-A-Kombi 1 Cream
From throat down (because I havent shaved in a couple days, need something really absorbing I used Karin Herzog Additional Sweet)

Acid, have you ever had any bad effects? i heard that sometimes DMAE can be dangerous. did a dermatologist or aesthetician recommend it to you?

the only danger is that your face might feel really tight and numb but thats a good thing in my opinion
