What style of shoe goes best with jeans?

I disagree. for me- it's stilettos with jeans. if I'm going to wear flats, then I wear a skirt.

for boys- I think square toe dress shoes look good with jeans.

I don't like tennis shoes with anything- except with a sweatsuit- at the gym- on the treadmill

I suppose stillettos does look the best, but I'm more of a sneaker kind of girl. Retro sneakers, that is. It's casual and possible for me to wear without falling flat on my face on the snow and ice

Sneakers makes a lot of sense to me half the time, especially if you're just going out with tshirts or sweatshirts, who would wear stilettos with that?

I NEVER wear heels - men don't wear heels so why should I? - so the other half of the time I just wear loafers and flats or pointy flats.

I think pointy flats look REALLY cute with jeans.

Why would anyone create a thread to ask what shoes should be worn with jeans and a sweatshirt? I dont think thats what the original poster intended.

So... out in public, when you see people with sweatshirts on, you think it's 'cause they're lazy? Hmmm. I'm a fashion lover, myself, but I definitely integrate sweatshirts and tennis shoes into my wardrobe. I walk sometimes 4 miles in a day, and I refuse to look prim 'n proper when a.) I'll be uncomfortable, and b.) I will be putting extra miles on fabulous shoes.

But that's just me. I just don't feel that it's fair, nor safe, to judge people simply by how they dress... I simply don't believe in that. I just don't do that myself.

Oh, and my vote goes to heels with jeans... pointy-toed... whether they're stilettos or boots. Love the added height, love the look.

i just don't really like mules or slides with jeans unless the pant is high enough to show it. i don't get the point in hiding it and i especially hate it when jeans tuck around the heel because of it.

i love trainers. converse all stars and adidas superstars are my faves.

stilettos are the next best thing. the round toe looks kinda funny poking from the hem though so i say pointy toes are better unless the pant is high enough.

Hmm... interesting question...

I wear every type of shoe with jeans. But the type of shoe that's appropriate is dependent on the style of the jean and vice versa...

I wear round toes, pointy toes, sandals, stilettos, flats, sneakers, boots, wedges... etc. The best style is dependent on the shape & length of the jean imo
