I love to listen to Christmas music. I love all the songs but I think my favorite is, " O Holy Night" Do you have a favorite?

i don't know the name but it's from some target commercial and it sounds more jazz like than sappy christmas song

first lyrics
candles burning low, lots of mistle toe, something about burning lights everywhere you go.
that's what christmas means to me i think is that title.

i also like all i want for christmas only when the little girl in love actually sings it though. mariah carey can fall off a cliff.

and then i like the carol of the bells. when done right.

...it gives me goosebumps.

:yuk: I abhor Christmas music with a passion. Except for maybe the religious songs.

'have a holly jolly christmas'

silent night

songs from animated christmas specials...
heat miser
cold miser
put one foot in front of the other....(santa claus is coming to town)
i am not such a misfit...(rudolph)
welcome christmas ..(the grinch)

one of my favourite things to do as a kid was to go carolling to raise money for charity...it was indescribably brilliant... it was a group of kids and a few parents as chaperones and we'd go from house to house...really really thrilling and moving... and the epitome of christmas spirit for me...
 :flower: :santa:

I love Christmas carols! Can't wait to sing them with everyone at church later. Nothing beats the atmosphere!
The best are O Holy Night, O Come All Ye Faithful, Here We Come A-Wassailing and Carol of the Bells.
Non-religious songs: O Christmas tree + most of the Home Alone soundtrack and Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas.
There's this song I heard on the OC which is nice, Maybe This Christmas by Ron Sexsmith.

Have a great Christmas everyone!

Silent Night - for some reason when I sing it I lapse into German for some of the verses and then back to English. I think it's because I had to sing it in choir when I lived in Germany but it's a bit odd that I do it unconciously now

santa baby
silent night
jingle bells (by frank sinatra) ...and infact the whole frank sinatra christmas album! sewing away to it in textiles lessons

Little Drummer Boy

O Come all ye faithful

i WISH i could go out and listen to carols right now - but i'm pooped pooped pooped and it's so COLD! i miss the tradition of people walking through the neighbourhood singing carols door to door.

Jingle bells, batman smells, robin laid an egg...

I like
-All I want for Christams
and my German Christmas song
-Schneefloeckchen, Weissgloeckchen

Bella

I tend to dislike a lot of Christmas music; a lot of it is just so cheesy. But my dad recently released a new Christmas CD, and the arrangements are phenomenal.

I forgot to add one song, it's "I'll be home for Christmas"........my dad always used to sing it to me before he died, and it just reminds me so much of him.
