Which Stars are "risk takers" in their personal style/fashion sense?

On a lot of these threads, I have read that a lot of people consider certain celebs to "play it safe" when it comes to their fashion choices.

I've heard this about people like Lauren Conrad, Halle Berry, Gabrielle Union, and Hayden Panettiere.

I was wondering, who, if any stars do you think are "risk takers" that go "outside the box" with their fashion choices.

Also, feel free to post photos of various stars stepping out in fashion!

I don`t think anyone can really tell anymore since most stars don't really take risks, its their stylists that do it for them

I think pretty much anyone who doesn't wear something completely safe and kind of generic is considered a risk taker in Hollywood, even if what they wear isn't even that out there. I would agree with Bjork and Rinko. I don't know if I would bother listing Chloe Sevigny even though I like her style only because what she wears wouldn't be considered that out there if Hollywood in general weren't so safe. She's only different because she takes her own taste and personal style into account and doesn't adjust it because of best/worst dressed lists (which are taken far too seriously).

and if we include models I like Iekeliene Stange's look

That's a very good point. But I do wonder if a celebrity has some "input" if you know what I mean. I'm sure that some stylists tell celebrities not to do certain things, but if a celebrity is "eccentric" I think they would.

i dont always like either of their choices, particularly because sometimes i feel they are unflattering to their bodies, but i always admire their willingness to try something new and not be so concerned with looking 'pretty'.

yeah i agree about nicole kidman too.. she may not be as avant garde but i don't think she has ever conformed to the typical hollywood image either.. she seems to have always made fashion choices that suited her and stayed true to that..
