I watched Edward Scissorhands again last night, and was surprised by how delicately lovely she looked in it, even with that ridiculous Sunny Delite hair. She reminded me a lot of Keira Knightley in this movie, tho' obviously prettier. Her (Winona's) eyes are so soulful and expressive; I really hope she makes a comeback soon.

^ Yeah, she reminds me of Keira Knightley as well! They both have really gorgeous eyes - I adore them both.

And now I want to watch "Edward Scissorhands" again. She was so good in that movie. And she looked really good with Johnny Depp. I ALWAYS thought she was his most gorgeous girlfriend - she is far more stunning than Kate Moss or Vanessa Paradis, imo. I want to see "A Scanner Darkly", but it's not playing anywhere near me.

i really respect her as an actress, you hardly find serious young actresses like her anymore.

You're right...I think she is far under-rated. But maybe I like her to stay like that...I don't think it would be nice if she'd be overly-hyped and in every magazine cover.

I think she is due for a real big comeback. Alot of these newer girls right now (Keira, Natalie, etc.) are really just Winona doppellgangers. I like them too and they are very beautiful but there is no substitute for the original.

The Darwin Awards is coming out soon. Hopefully she'll snag some major magazine covers away from her competition.
