How is Wolford? Is it worth the price? Im interested in the Velvet Luxe Leggings & the tube dress.

Thanks. :flower:

i think the tights are worth it... but they are just tights don't expect too much.

I'm interested in the dress as well.. does it slip down? American Apparel has some like it...

my favorite tights, they run large so beware. I think they wear very well, have unique patterns and the anthracite is a beautiful color.

they do run big, don't they?...i think it is because they don't have a ton of lycra in them...but that also makes them a bit more comfy imo...

i don't know anyone who wears anything but the tights...
i know they have been trying to break into ready to wear...
but i don't think anyone is buying it...

I just bought some Wolford's tights in Satin Opaque 50 to go with my LBD !

See how much different it feels after always wearing cheap tights!

Exactly. After I bought and wore Wolfords for the first time, I told my mom that I don't think I could ever go back to cheap Hue brand tights again

They have really good after-Christmas sales...I bought like 7-8 pairs of tights and leggings and everything came to about $200. Normally, the price is $50-$70 for one pair! I also bought 3 pairs of these knit-ribbed leggings that I seriously can't live without. Unfortunately, I think they discontinued this style

Yeah, it's official I wont ever be wearing cheap tights again. Only Wolfords from now on!!

IMO with black tights you can really tell when its cheap quality and most, feel the difference of Wolford tights, for anyone that can afford to, they are really worth it.

I could not live without them they last much longer than a season while cheap tights are all ratty after a week.

I know they are just tights but how do you peeps take care of them?

wash gently in the sink with something like a tiny bit of shampoo and then hang them somewhere to airdry.....

Does anyone know where I can get opaque wolfords in CANADA? (Vancouver)

Can't get enough of Wolford thights! Next purchase will be Merino tights in ecrue!!

Love Wolford.. The only tights I have by them are the "Polar" tights in black (amazing in freezing weather).. Last time I was there I saw sheer dark tights with designs above the knee (hard to describe)..They were on clearance for $15 or so.. That was a while ago, but I hope they are still there.

I think I saw something in another thread about people finding Wolford tights for cheap at TJ Maxx?

Wolford IS so worth it! You're right gracelikerain - those Polar tights are AWESOME. So warm, so cozy...

I also have a pair of the opaque tights in black. The first day I wore them it was rainy and I had to wear my rainboots on my walk to work. The boots rubbed against my calves and pilled up the tights, so now I can only wear the tights with boots. They look great with boots (and not just rainboots, of course), luckily.

Silly me...

What black Wolford tights would be good for Spring use? I want them to be opaque but, obviously, quite lightweight.

We bought some Wolford stockings for a fashion parade cos we were told they are very good quality, could last for years and years...
I didnt wear them personally but the service at the shop was the top. The lady was really nice although we just went in like a newbie
