A real artist will always find a way to stay true to his aesthetic.
Thank God Yohji is still designing this way. The fashion industry now needs people like him more than ever. If this ridiculous recycling of fashion eras continues (Marc Jacobs, I'm looking at you), then fashion really has lost all of its relevance.
^you have a point, but is the yohji customer the y-3 customer? i see y-3 mostly at the gym and trendyish people who enjoy the sportswear idea in their everyday wear. the yohji customer doesn't have anything to do with that really.
