Yannick Abrath

In our second edition of Boys of Milan Fashion Week we visited the Diesel Black Gold SS14 menswear show backstage area. The event took place in Superstudio 13, where a lot of shows take place in Milan during one of the most hectic weeks of the year in fashion. Getting ready for the show were models such as Yannick Abrath, Paul Boche, Matthew Bell, Alexander Beck, Charlie France, Miles Langford, Benjamin Jarvis and Guerrino Santulliana, all with a very wet hair look. Just the way we like it.

Three colours dominated the Spring Summer 2014 collection: white, black and blue, creating a strong monochromatic and minimal vibe. The show started with the first colour introducing leather biker jackets, T-Shirts and trousers, with outfits combining different shades of white. You know how we love an all white outfit! The bad boy looks were a contrast to the nicely mixed in flower patterns on several of the tops. The black and blue colours were combined, mixing different fabrics like leather, satin and jean in garments like bombers, trousers and blazers – giving to the collection a nice contrast. Accessorised with wide belts and the updated white or black lacquered version of the oxford shoe, contrasting with the sneakers, this was a contemporary collection for the sophisticatedly cool man.
