Catwalk like Yasmeen Ghauri!
The catwalk queen of the 90's teaches you how to do it.
THE CATWALK STALK...AND HOW TO DO IT
THE CROSS-STEP: One foot crosses completely over the other.
THE PIVOT: When your crossed-over foot hits the runway, twist it toward the inside, giving a swing.
THE BOUNCE: Usually on the front end of the pivot, just a bit, nothing too dramatic.
THE ARM-SWING: Exudes confidence. At the end of the runway, hands firmly placed just below the hips.
THE HIP-SWIVEL: Roll out the hip just a bit at the shift of the weight, then roll back in the other direction, with the inexorable rhythm of a metronome.
THE PERFECTLY HELD HEAD: Even with all that action going on below, you could balance a martini glass on Yasmeen's coiffure and she wouldn't spill a drop.
THE GAZE: Straightforward, matter-of-fact, ultra above-it-all.
