this is quite an interesting video from 1991 at the height of the supermodel era when the media was focusing on them and on how much money they were making. it was around the time linda saying "i don't get out of bed for less than $10,000" comment and includes models runway fees for shows. yasmeen is asked to justify their high fees. and her intelligent answer makes sense it is "their image selling the clothes" their fees are nothing compared to the profits designers can make on a collection.

this is my favourite of them together, look at the body language...quite close to each others faces means they are comfortable and at ease with each other, also notice how they mirror each other with stance their arms, when you do mirroring its a sign of liking that person, is that oribe doing yasmeen's hair?? i think so

*faints* oh my goodness!! and what a great job MissIvana! the video is amazing so many great clips. those run of versace clips in the middle are just incredible. i love the yellow vesace dress my favourite piece from that collection and gianni knew it suited her curves body best

when you see her like that you can't help but try to understand her appeal, what is it exactly that makes her special and why she was as successful as she was? what desingers, editors and photographers saw in her too that made them want to work with her? firstly she is just so jaw droppingly beautiful, an unusua,l rare and distinctive beauty too, plus so much presence it really comes through when you see her walk the runway. that supreme and confident way she carries herself.

her body is something that has never been seen before like a comic book drawing all those extra curves but this is real life!! she is also like an ancient egyptian goddess (i think galliano saw that about her cause he cast her as a queen sittiing the golden throne for his 90s cleopatra themed collection). also another galliano link the organza fragrance, did he cast her as a greek goddess or egyptian?

she really is like those drawings from ancient egyptian walls, their bodies were similar to yasmeen their unusual wide shoulders and extreme v shape upper body, tanned, big almond shaped eyes, exotic with that swoop of dark hair. like cleopatra and queen nefertiti yasmeen would definately have been worshipped if she had been around in those times.

but in our time it was designers, photographers, editors and some of the public that picked up on her. not only that but in ancient egyptian times there was so much mystery and those queens are enigmas and now we have history repeating with yasmeen. she has disappeared for 10 solid years. no clue what she is doing or how she looks 10 years on her and unintentionally she too has now become an enigma. we only have dated pictures and video to remember her like the drawings in ancient egypt.

look at this!! queen nefertiti sculpture she has a similar profile to yasmeen (well kinda yas is more refined and regal lol) even the swan neck, omg a reincarnation!!?? we have a real queen amonst us?

Yasmeen is my most fav model! She has the best body CURVY CURVY
I heard that the little wiggle she does when she walked on the runway was because one of her legs was a bit longer than the other, I don't know if this is true though.
