Thinking back, I can't remember hearing anything but positives about her. No scandals at all like most of the others of her time. No notoriety about being a shrew like Seymour and Evangelista, no wild rants like Campbell and a few others.

Kind of refreshing.

^well in term of outlook she was a 'Gisele' type of model: fashion was a job not a lifestyle, like for the other girls.
That's why she didn't indulge in the excesses of the industry and why she has never looked back since leaving (to everybody's chagrin).

An hourglass is a rare natural occurrence, but a skinny hourglass? That's the holy grail of physical perfection.
Add to that the fact that she had a stunning face (how many women have a perfect body and a perfect face?)... the girl was the definition of a generic lottery winner.
