Yasmeen Ghauri

Retirement and marriage
When Yasmeen stepped out of the Yves Saint Laurent show in 1996 at the last minute, speculations arose that she might be retiring. She however was planning on pursuing a degree in business upon the advice of her long-term friend Ralph, a law firm executive and a real-estate businessman. She named her daughter Maya meaning faith in Urdu and although she lives fairly away from media attention, she is pretty active with fund-raising events, most notable of which have been the charity for saving Germany's famous Black Forest.

Yasmeen is so elegant and beautiful.I am curious what she looks like now, though.

So gorgeous. I appreciate her beauty much more because she isn't one of those "comeback/supermodels" models shoved by magazines and media. I admire her work ethic (well from what I heard from)

I look at some of the other "Supporting Cast" threads and think it's almost embarrassing to see what is considered a model today. There is no one even remotely close to Yasmeen.

Yeah she stands alone in this industry and I don't think there will ever be anyone to rival her sense of serene, exotic class.
Thanks for those pics Nefertiti:flower:
