I should explain better. Im a jewelry designer - and while I think its a cute ring, the price ($105 us) is INSANEly overpriced. The stone (tigers eye) is probably the most inexpensive stone. The gold filled wire its made of is approx ($2-$4) per FOOT.
So while its a cute ring, I feel obligated to let you know that the stone/metal costs about $5.... RETAIL!
i'm also gonna nay the la pisette ring but for a different reason (though mkd1187 makes a good point)...
I bought one of the la pisette rings as a birthday gift for my cousin (the dark purple amethyst for her february birthstone) and the images on the website make the rings look much more substancial than they really are..
I was expecting a big gob of a stone...
kind of like expecting a grape and getting a raisin...
the ring also felt like it was a bit fragile..
it was still pretty, just not really what i expected..
and you can't return it...
^ I don't know I'm kind of borderline on that one. It's pretty but would you wear it lots? If you think you will get a lot of use on it, then it'll be a great purchase
I think its a bit too elegant for everyday though! But if you are using it as an evening accessory it will look great~!
Nay. If it were a darker shade of "gold" it would look tribal. (All depends on your personal style.) Also, I always hated pendants with thick chains. Something about the chain looking so chunky ruins its appeal IMO.
^I don't know how much they sell it for on ebay. But its Arms & Armory - my friend designs it. They sell it for at screaming mimis. $160 for brass, $225 for ss
