Yigal Azrouel S/S 06 New York

Yigal Azrouel is the one to watch. His SS05 collection hinted vintage Narciso Rodriguez: sleek minimalism, great tailoring, the love affair with black and white, but this season he's branched out with the addition of prints and colorful satin, which shifted attention from his tailoring to his cut. I see him in the same vein with Costello Tagliapietra and Sari Gueron, who are all influenced by Lavin's brand of elegance and fludity.

And the Manolo Blahnik leather heels (on Lucas) are a less conspicuous (compared to Tom Ford for YSL's safari sandals circa ss02) take on t-straps. Loving it!

well well well...
This was... nice.
Some of the clothes were amazingly beatiful and some were just naff.
Maybe I can say that I liked half of the collection and that is quite good.

I love it all, especially the print dress and print skirt.
