^^Why is she too young to quit? A model doesn't have to work until she's worn out or not fresh anymore. If she wants to focus on school I think it was the right decision since she can always try it one more time once she has finished school and still has the body.

If the reason really is that she's not into modelling then it is the right decision to quit and not agonize oneself with doing something you dislike, even if it involves money.

Didn't she have problems with her school letting her miss school days for shootings and runway work? If so we might have a chance that she realizes this is not working when she's still a student and plans to do modelling after school.

Seems like here discoverer and director of Elite Holland has left the agency....due to issues from global management.... I read his interview on castingnieuws.nl.... (sorry its in dutch)...and it seems like he will be (behind the scenes) guiding her (and other models) career through a new agency I believe....

a girl like ymre is not quiting yet....to much money to be earned....

Het viel ons op dat er verschillende modellen niet meer op de site te zien zijn. Hieronder valt Ymre Stiekema. Valt dit onder het kopje ' het rommelt' dat in het perbericht stond?

"Ik kan hier niet op ingaan, maar het klopt dat Ymre niet meer bij Elite zit, zoals ook andere modellen."

Answer: I can't talk about that, but it's true that Ymre is not at Elite anymore, like other models.

Jeroen van de Mast was the director at Elite. he left cause he couldn't agree with the policy of the agency.

Lots of models has changed from agency because they didn't get many jobs.

Casting News spoke with Jeroen van de Mast of his departure to Elite Netherlands.

Jeroen, the news of your departure by Elite was very unexpected. Can you say more about?

"Look, I have a public function, everyone knows Elite so I thought it polite to my departure in a press release to the public to report. It would be strange if suddenly a new person starts, no one knows."

We noticed that different models no longer on the site are. This includes Ymre Stiekema. Is this under the heading 'messes' that stood in the press release?

"I can not comment, but it is true that Ymre is no longer at Elite, as other models."

What are you doing?

"To me it seems very nice as I can go and explore the types of talent, I'm good at. I have also built up contacts over the years, perhaps I can work them together. The cards are open and the next time I look at my ease and take a decision."

How will your new year?
