They're alright, I think it would be a cool beach shoe. Another thing Ive noticed is that heels some sneakers and such tend to look better worn while flats and some sneakers look better empty. I think they would look better on.
I find them intriguing as a purchase because they show how my tastes have changed. I used to HATE platforms up until I was around 19. Now I live in florida and have become more open to these types of styles. Don't think I would wear them in europe though...
THanks for you comments and your honesty! Keep 'em comin'
No, i don't like them either! But maybe they look good when you pair them with your clothes. I don't know. Could you show a pic of you wearing them? Thanks!
It's not something I would wear but not something I would turn my nose up at either. Personally because I wear an itsy-bitsy size 5, chunky shoes don't float my boat. But honey, if you love em', wear em' I say! They almost hint at being very Dior-ques or Vivienne Westwood-ish.
the quality of the picture isn't so great...i'd love to see a different shot of them...other than that, i must say that i really do like these shoes...they're very 1940s pin-up
Brian got it exactly right - 1940's pin-up! As one of the few on this board who was around back then, I can tell you they're not just retro, they're pretty near authentic!
