I have already bought them and absolutely LOVE them, but I would like to hear very honest opinions anyway :)

Tell me your brutal opinions:

I'm not really digging them... but that may be just because I'm not really that into platforms....

Congrats on your purchase tho! :flower:

I have to be honest.. I really don't like them..

But I know there are plenty of people out there that dislike purchases I have made... beauty is in the eye of the beholder... I'm glad you love them! :)

They're alright, I think it would be a cool beach shoe. Another thing Ive noticed is that heels some sneakers and such tend to look better worn while flats and some sneakers look better empty. I think they would look better on.

I find them intriguing as a purchase because they show how my tastes have changed. I used to HATE platforms up until I was around 19. Now I live in florida and have become more open to these types of styles. Don't think I would wear them in europe though...
THanks for you comments and your honesty! Keep 'em comin'

I like them! ;) Im like you..I wasnt into platforms, but im into experimenting with differet shoes now i wouldnt have worn a few years ago.^_^

No, i don't like them either! But maybe they look good when you pair them with your clothes. I don't know. Could you show a pic of you wearing them? Thanks! :flower:

They're kinda cute in small doses. As long as the rest of your outfit isn't super cutesy...

^^ i thought "cutesy" too

i think the pic's bad but it sort of looks like terrycloth or suede that's sticking up (?)

It's not something I would wear but not something I would turn my nose up at either. Personally because I wear an itsy-bitsy size 5, chunky shoes don't float my boat. But honey, if you love em', wear em' I say! They almost hint at being very Dior-ques or Vivienne Westwood-ish.

i'd wear them only with black opaque tights and a over the knee skirt..
with all black (+ ONE shocking colour accessory) they will be fantastic ;)

i'm not that into them to be honest. they're not really my thing, but i can imagine them being fab with a retro theme.. hehe

x

for some reason I don't like platform shoes for me but they're great for other people just too chunky looking for me.. Cute tho;)

the quality of the picture isn't so great...i'd love to see a different shot of them...other than that, i must say that i really do like these shoes...they're very 1940s pin-up

Brian got it exactly right - 1940's pin-up! As one of the few on this board who was around back then, I can tell you they're not just retro, they're pretty near authentic!

Nice purchase!:flower:

:yuk: Sorry I love Marc Jacobs but I dont like those shoes, but thats justmy personal opinion Im sure you'll rock them with something and make them cute:innocent:
