On Neiman site, the fall preview back has Chocolate large Maia bag on pre-order for $1995 before tax. The measurement is about 20" by 12"...It is soo tempting,, I think I even like it more than my choco muse...

in the last two months, i've bought the oversized muse, a chloe pad shopper & ascot tote(well, at least that one was on sale).

arrrrrrrgggh! too many pretty things/not enough throwaway money. sigh.
my credit card is flashing in my wallet. must not charge. must save for debit card purchase. :<

waaah, i also like this isabella fiore embroidered floral tote...and i don't even usually like her bags.

there's black ,chocolate and white.. all pre-order on the site. i may break down and call my mom's SA @ the SF YSL boutique. on the other hand, the Saks pre-order gives me time to talk myself out of it tho'. lol.

I'd already used that promo this month, so I took advantage of the gift card promo that is today only. Now I have to wait for the 11/14 ship date - seems so far away.

I just wanted to mention that the YSL F/W handbags have hit the stores!

I saw the Severine large hobo w suede trim at Neiman Marcus in San Francisco one week ago, along with Anais tote. They didn't have the Rive Gauche though.

One Rive Gauche was available at the YSL store in SF for $1395.-, the other two they had gotten in where pre-ordered. I really really liked it, but didn't buy it because I thought I would be able to get it in Europe too.
The lock looks the same as the one on the muse, but it can be turned to secure the flap. The only thing that bothers me a bit was that it looked a tiny bit like a laptop bag when carried over the shoulder with the long strap...

At Theresa in Munich they didn't have the Rive Gauche, but they had a really beautiful black Severine w black patent trim.

^I think its possible. YSL always has big sales, and it doesn't seem like the Rive Gauche is hugely popular right now, so there should be some left over.

Thanks MJCouture. I like the fact that it's not too popular, and it's more squared so that I can put documents inside It's also interview appropriate, I think.
