When I saw the title I thought that must ba a great ad and now I'm not disappointed.

Although the product is supposed to illuminate the face... and the darker the shadows get, the more the background starts looking like a 1970's bar with nicotine-stained wallpaper.

Or maybe they meant that the finished product does not look like the majority of his work. I find that whenever Terry Richardson does YSL this is always the case.

Really?I think this looks like terry's work.
The styling is different ,yes
,but the usual composition + lighting are there.
It' s just maybe toned down.

I'd say it doesn't look like Terry's work because she's not sucking on the damn product or sitting spread out. It's a beautiful outcome either way.

So great to see Jourdan in this campaign, it's about time she got a beauty campaign. Also very happy to see we can still recognize her as usually beauty campaigns are so photoshopped, you can barely recognize the model.
