We have taken a brief chat with Zakaria Khiare as a model for Unique Models (Copenhagen) was recently Zakaria nominated in the category 'Danish model - Men "in the Danish Fashion Award: This award went to Jacob, as you know Hybholt. Read on below to see our mini-interview with Zakaria Khiare .....

What has been your biggest experience?

I've worked for: Bruuns Bazaar, Mads Norgaard, Soulland, Henrik Vibskov, Dior, Kris Van Assche, Cerruti, Paul Smith, Hermès, Wooyoungmi, I think that was it.
My greatest experience so far has been to work for Dior, which was very professionally and thoroughly. In addition, it was a fun and exciting experience to be nominated and to participate in Danish Fashion Award recently.

2. You've seen and been wearing a lot of clothes from the latest collections - which item would you rather own?

There are many things from the latest collections, I think is really cool, but I'm particularly fascinated by Kris van Assche very simple collection. I include just loves his shoe designs and his outfit. In addition, I am quite fascinated by a blue blazer I wore, from Paul Smith's new collection.


3. What do you see as the coming summer's biggest trend?
I think the hat trend will come to fill much of the summer fashion scene, and also fills the accessories already a large part of the street scene, which is a trend I imagine will continue.

4. What jobs have you as a model in the near future?
I travel to Paris and Milan in early June to work during fashion week, other jobs are not yet fully established.

5. Do you have some shops in Aarhus or Copenhagen, you would like to recommend to our readers?

Stampede & Fabrics - both in Aarhus and Copenhagen, Works (Aarhus), Wood Wood (Copenhagen), Støy Munkholm (Aarhus), Bibi Chemnitz (Aarhus), Norse (Copenhagen) - it was some of the stores I would recommend.
