wow, good work, but the lighting need to be fixed, but i do like what i see, you have a lot of potential, i can tell that styling needs adjustment but the design is great, bravo :)

its jacquard silk Gazar brother!!

the grey hood is 96% wool 2% steel filament and 2% lycra ,
and it is actually a scarf with an attached hood (for additional warmth and protection from the enemies and the elements) lined in 100% silk for a sensual touch against the face and neck!)

thanks Scott im glad you like them.

^ah...beautiful.

the hood's great for the forest dwellers as well ;) Very Red Riding Hood. Actually,I've got the biggest affinity for hoods these days.

you're welcome,doll :flower:

this is great. congrats!
My favorites: black top in pic #1.blk shirt outfit on post #1.
the blk jacket probably needs to be ironed? the seams don't look very smooth to me...the pants might be big on her or they are too straight looking? more tapered or narrower legs will probably look more modern, I guess.
outfit in pic # 5 is just stunning!

thank Caff. im glad you liked them, it was a wonderful event this evening, i was hoping you would come. I have some good news, i will PM you.

yes the pants were a bit too big for the model, we had to belt them on her, she has strong shoulders but very narrow hips, Kinda like a Grace Jones feel to her.

The seams on the jacket cannot be any smooth, at least not with the technique that i used.
the jackets have a double topstitching on the edges and pockets (the pockets are stitched on the inside of the jacket, i will post the white verson in a detail shot for you to see)
the thread used to stitch them is very a heavy thread used for airforce parachutes and bulletproof vests and horse saddles.
the machines used to create the stitch is a machine used to stitch through 80 layers of spectra (ballistic/bulletproof) material
this kind of pulls the fabric together, as the fabric is a medium wieght virgin wool .
i experiment a lot with different sewing techniques, and soometimes these are the results that i get. after all while i really want very good quality in my work, i dont want the clothes to look like they were made in an industrial factory.............

picture #1 and 2, shows the stitching on the jacket,

Picture #3 shows the way the pocket is topstitched to the inside of the jacket, creating the puckering that is visible on the outside
#4 and 5 are views of belts that i made, i have been experimenting with accessories lately

the belts really ruin the work you have done in my opinion but great work. I am always interested in the manufacturing of clothes and the techniques used to create them so thanks for sharing.

I really, really, really like this. A few minor presentational improvements are needed but that's it, really.

what do you mean by ruin, do you think it takes Away from the styling?

also , i am a very technically oriented designer ( a large part of my day job is solving technical problems in military Garb, and developing new ideas for future products) so if you have any questions feel free to ask..................
