Zara Beauty 2021 by Different Photographers

What a strong combo of beauty shots! I find Fabien Baron's photos extremely captivating, along with Craig's and Meisel's.

OMG, Wigs snatched! I absolutely love this. The level of creativity and the execution is excellent.

Kudos to Zara because, as someone who has worked in creative agency for luxury beauty brands, they are really taking risks and it pay off. What I love the most here is that Zara, as an accessible brand, tries to represent many idea of beauty in a really great way. You can see different type of make-up and styling as well as photography too. So well done.

And also, these are actually better than many of beauty editorials out there.

This is really incredible. Like, incredible.

What I’d really like to know, though, is the following: Is it only the budget? Are all these creatives this stimulated by the paycheck? Are they this good when working with brands like Zara because they’re getting out of their comfort zone? Is it a combination of all three? There is a big shift happening in the quality of the output of luxury brands vs. high street brands, and luxury brands don’t seem to be paying attention.

What a truly incredible debut campaign for Zara's beauty collection! I can only echo the sentiments of everyone else over how wonderful this has turned out, putting the high-end luxury beauty companies to absolute shame.

Despite the imagery from McDean, Sims and Sorrenti being strong, I'm fawning over the images photographed by Steven Meisel. Meisel's classic studio portraits always win me over, but Sacha Quenby and Lola Nicon look truly spectacular and the imagery overall feels expensive, are direct in their approach to a beauty campaign and deliver even without the styling and art direction of the others.
