Oops, controversy over this shoot due to her age (16) and implied sexual content. They may have broken a law here. In Australia the Classifications Act prohibits the depiction of nudity and sexual activity of minors under 18. Agent denies knowing it would be a topless shoot. (Not to mention implied underage drinking and guy passed out in the tub beside her.)

Modeling is running into a lot of bad press in Oz these days.

sometimes im so in love with this girl... and sometimes shes just blah? but that could just be some of the photographers not being the best? or make up or stylists etc.

Ever Since the 'Lost Youth' issue of Pavement Magazine, her face has stood out.

Zippora Vermillion Rose Seven, Has been named New Zealand's answer to Kate Moss. Just reaching 5 6" she is lapping up the pages of Lucire,Pulp,Frankie,Pages Online,Pavement and best of all French Vogue!
After the Pavement shoot (her first) her career had begun.

Two years on from that Shoot she has done numerous amounts of editorial work that features in the magazines (above) and worked for designers such as Something Else, Kate Sylvester,Trelise Cooper, Ruby,Sera Lilly and many more.

She has walked at Air New Zealand Fashion Week for Stolen Girlfriends Club and Nom D.

Zippora who is 16 and lives in Auckland, belongs to Auckland Modelling Agency, Red Eleven Models & Talent.
She also belongs to Pricsella's Models in Australia.

Zippora's favourite things are her Boyfriend Scott AKA Kudaranee (lead singer of band The DHDFD's), her little brother Cisco, her cat and her mum and dad! She thinks when you start travelling ( as she does a lot of now) you find the things you love the most!

Zippora was scouted at a Fair by Amanda Betts (owner of Red Eleven). Before that she had never thought of modelling.She never brushed her hair, she was short and she looked like she had come out of some crazy 60's movie!She didn't even like fashion that much, except for dressing up! She wanted to be a vet or a marine biologist. But now she is in the industry she knows what she really loves and she loves what she does!

The best modelling job so far for Zippora has been French Vogue! For a Kiwi Model that is amazing!
Zippora and her Brother, Jasper's (who did the French vogue shoot with her) models card's were given to Bruce Weber (French Vogue Photographer) at a New Zealand Abercrombie & Fitch casting.

They were booked for The French Vogue, the entire November issue is a Bruce Weber special! The Shoot took place in the Hamptons earlier last year!

According to Runway Reporter , Jasper and Zippora got to hang out with Uber-model, Lily Donaldson!

Despite being called 'NZ's Kate Moss' Zippora thinks they are way different apart from being successful short models. She thinks they will have to meet and then she can decide :-) The Worst thing about modelling for Zippora is the Travel. But the best thing about modelling for her is the Travel too, it has its benefits and disadvantages.

Zippora has also scored many stylist jobs on her shoots as well as being the model. She was guest stylist in Pulp Magazine last year! She has excellent style (I think) and Runway Reporter have named her 'one of the best dressed models on the scene'. Zippora hates shopping. But she loves it. She loves in when she is driving up some lonely country road and spots a little shop in the middle of nowhere, she thinks those are the best and cheapest shops of all!

An Average day for Zippora is Getting up early, going to shoot, coming home and sleeping! Also she could be running round all day with her map book falling apart, searching for some dirty side street going to one casting after another. But she finds it fun and thinks it's great exercise!

When she is not booked up with modelling she is sight seeing (if in another country) or spending time with friends or Family.

Zippora sums herself up as quiet,very quiet. Also Small, Happy (she is always happy) and Mature.
Her hidden habits include biting her nails (she is trying to stop) and changing her clothes at least twice a day.

So what's next for this uber-cool model? Japan. She is going to Japan in Spring and is in Paris at the moment.

You have to hand it to Zippora

Zippora is 5'6" tall and you have to hand it to her, she really is doing her modelling thing! She is in the current issues of Yen Australia, Russh Australia (last issue as well), cover and inside Oyster Australia, in the current issue of Doing Bird, No Magazine NZ, Jalouse Paris, Cleo NZ, Vogue Australia and that is all the last 6 weeks...that is a Kiwi model doing better than ok when they said she wouldn't be able to because she is "...too...". Does anyone else have a great story of short girls doing big things?

Besides the most obvious one? You should check out the Models That Aren't That Tall thread, I think some good examples could be found there (and perhaps reveal that a famous few aren't as tall as one is lead to believe.)

I guess this is partially Zip's 10-page editorial in the current issue of Vogue Australia.
